Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Framebase (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our platform and embedded widgets.

1. Information we collect

Account data

When you create a Framebase account we collect your email address, name, authentication identifiers (from Supabase Auth and any OAuth provider you connect, such as Google), and the workspaces and sites you create.

Widget submissions

When a visitor interacts with a widget you have embedded (booking, contact form, email collector, chat), we process the data they submit on your behalf. You are the data controller for that data; we act as a data processor.

Usage and analytics

With your consent, we use PostHog to collect product analytics (pages visited, features used). We do not sell this data. You can change your consent at any time using the cookie banner.

Billing

Payments are processed by Stripe. We store your subscription state and a Stripe customer ID; we do not store full card numbers.

2. How we use information

  • To provide and operate the Framebase service
  • To deliver transactional email (account verification, billing, widget notifications) via Resend
  • To improve the product through aggregated, consent-based analytics
  • To comply with legal obligations

3. Sub-processors

We use the following sub-processors:

  • Supabase (auth, database hosting)
  • Vercel (application hosting, edge KV)
  • Stripe (payment processing)
  • Resend (transactional email delivery)
  • PostHog (product analytics, consent-based)

4. Data retention

Account and submission data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from Settings, which removes associated data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

5. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us at privacy@framebase.app to exercise these rights.

6. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management. Analytics cookies are only set after you accept them via our cookie banner.
